Interesting old building, but you can't go in and there isn't much else to do. There is a public boat ramp here, which is about the only reason to go out of your way to come to this park.
Few decent picnic tables and BBQs. Could use some more shade trees I think. Went there to grill and fish. only had a few nibbles from something and lost a bass one one point. So the fish are there, I think my main problem was a lack of good bait. Was there on a Thursday. At about 4:30 there was suddenly a steady flow of boats come to launch. Think it was about 15 boats that headed out within an hour. So, must be some decent fishing in the lakes further up.
Cool little park water is pretty murky but the it's a very nice area
Love it here great for pictures and a picnic and fishing.
